"Old" City Hall Makeover

Postby Joe » Wed Feb 02, 2011 3:59 pm

A group of 10 volunteers took a week and about $650 to perform an amazing transformation of the old city hall building. In addition to a well needed cleaning, the walls were repaired, everything was repainted, maintenance work performed, and new artwork ordered and mostly installed. They were able to get over $400 of high quality paint donated to the project.

The results speak for themselves, but here's a couple pictures to help.

Wonderful. Thank you to all who helped make it look like Greenfield cares about its community. Impressions like this are important to young people because they reflect respect and quality.

According to a report given to the City Council, the donated time, expertise, & materials on this makeover job was valued at over $5,200. Amazing how much money we can save with a change in tone!
